My approach to tarot is based on the idea that we read ourselves into the cards just like we see ourselves in stories. By drawing out what resonates for the questioner in each card, we can see what answers are already being offered by the questioner’s unconscious mind.
My tarot practice is not based on contacting spirits or predicting the future, but on drawing on the human potential to see patterns in the world around us and use them to better understand ourselves. I won’t tell you what is going to happen; I will help reveal your buried concerns and your own instincts for what is coming.
The major influences on my tarot practice are Learning the Tarot: An On-Line Course, The Castle of Crossed Destinies by Italo Calvino, Lindsay Mack’s Tarot for the Wild Soul (I completed her course in 2020), the matter-speaking-to-matter depiction of divination in Philip Pullman’s His Dark Materials series, and The Mythic Tarot by Juliet Sharman-Burke (the deck and book I first learned on as a teenager—using Greek mythology narratives to outline the Minor Arcana was a great mnemonic tool.)

I also enjoy collecting artistic and unusual decks. If you are booking a reading, you may choose a deck of interest to you or let me choose one. I am also developing my own video-based deck.

Quiet readings are done asynchronously: you provide any information you like (a question, topic, desired deck, etc) and I will conduct a reading. I will provide you with a document explaining your cards and how I think they connect to your situation. Includes photos of the reading and potentially my cat.
3 Card readings are appropriate for simple questions and quick insights.

10 Card readings can be done in the traditional Celtic Cross spread or in other spreads as requested. These readings are appropriate for complex situations and more in-depth views of the question.
Conversational readings are done over a video or voice call. Alternatively, we can talk live via text in the chat app of your choice. I will reach out to you for scheduling. We will do a reading together for 1 hour. The spread and deck can be guided by your interests or you can leave it up to me. I will dedicate that hour to you—if the initial reading finishes in less than an hour, we can go deeper or address a different set of problems for the remainder.
